I'm really pleased about last nights Vote of Support for Mariemont City Schools. I made a motion that said Village and Schools are inextricably linked, so it's appropriate to take on this topic. I made a motion and on the vote, it was 5-0 in the affirmative.
I think it's a great show of confidence for our great schools.

It’s puzzling to see the support for such a large levy for the schools. I wish the support was there in the same manner for safety services. I respect the fact we need to educate our future but we have to keep our future safe too!
ReplyDeleteCortney here. Agree that Safety is vital. Safety and Education are two foundational elements of any Community. We'll continue to squeeze out waste from our budget and make some tough choices, while minimizing the impact on Police and Fire. Thanks for the comment.
