I like to support activities that will allow those of us in the 'burbs to live a greener lifestyle. A lot of HOAs written over the past thirty to fifty years have limited our ability to do things that are green -- one here in Montgomery even prohibits vegetable gardens! -- and I think it's time we started to rethink some of these rules. It's fine that people are concerned about the way things look, but maybe we should rethink whether a line of clothes drying in the sun really looks =bad=. It represents being responsible, using clean, free, and readily available energy, and not producing pollution. Sure, it looks different. But to me, it looks GOOD.
