I attended the Memorial Day parade Monday. I brought me daughters with me. A nice event. General Short is a worthy if not overdue recipient of Citizen of the Year. Well don, General!

Each morning as I drive to work or jr.high drop off and each evening before the sun goes down, when I pass General Short raising and/or lowering the flag, I roll down my window and thank him. A good and honorable citizen worthy of the praise!
